Industry Analyst Associate (Intern)
The Industry Analyst Associate (Intern) will work in teams of 2-5 Premiens to support business analysts/consultants in delivering Premier consulting services by the standard of Premiership™ as well as contribute to the Premier industry insight perspectives. You will play a supportive role in providing initial & secondary business analytics in all aspects while assisting the corporate-level industry report and intellectual assets development. Building on the basic understanding of the research methodology and management consulting modeling, you’re equipped with various skills, including critical thinking, time management, business acumen, and problem-solving skills to ensure excellence in each industry analysis delivery as well as other assigned tasks.
Support the industry report and perspective delivery by the standard of Premiership™:
- Assist senior analysts to conduct thorough desktop research to gather information on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative approaches to collect, consolidate and analyze data from various sources to provide initial and secondary business analytics
- Support report or perspective structure design, visualization and final publication
Participate in client projects and offer bespoke solutions to solve clients’ critical business challenges:
- Participate actively in client projects including employing fundamental research methodologies and conducting interviews, workshops, and focus groups
- Leverage industry insights and research to help identify critical issues, formulate hypotheses, conduct analyses, and ultimately interpret data into meaningful insights and well-founded recommendations
- Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner

- Participate in practice and solution assets sediment in related industries/capabilities for knowledge building and knowledge sharing
- Contribute internal and external insights perspectives
- Engage in regular knowledge-sharing sessions to exchange expertise, best practices, and lessons learned to enhance the collective team knowledge
- Current undergraduate or graduate student, majoring in Business, Analysis, Management, or a related field
- Previous consulting or international corporate internship experience with experience in interacting with senior colleagues and clients
- Specific industry knowledge/consulting experience in luxury, real estate, wine & spirits industry is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) with outstanding writing and visualization skills
- Proven effective time management skills and capable of addressing a wide range of assignments with attention to detail under tight deadlines
- Demonstrated aptitude for analytics with exceptional problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and work effectively with people at all levels
- Basic understanding and great enthusiasm for management consulting
- Savvy discernment, superb integrity, and fairness in handling confidential information
- Excellence in verbal and written English and Chinese required
